Are you a voluntary sector group running a group or project aimed at supporting parents with 0-2-year-olds? Then you might be eligible for Action Together’s Best Start for Life Community Funding. The aim of the funding is to:

If you run a new or existing organisation within Tameside and would like to expand your wellbeing offer in the area for perinatal mental health and parent-infant relationships via a one-off grant. The grant aims to fill gaps such as expanding times or accessibility, or by reaching out to a wider range of caregivers including foster carers, fathers and co-parents.

Organisations can apply for projects of up to 12/18 months but must be able to demonstrate measurable outcomes by March 2025. Groups can apply for either a microgrant of up to £1,000, or a small grant between £1,000 to £10,000.
